ATV Riding New York
Over a dozen people riding dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles fled the scene after one of them ran over an NYPD officer in Brooklyn, video obtained exclusively by the Daily News shows.
The officer and his partner were responding on scooters to calls of a group of bikers riding around at Old Fulton and Hicks Sts. near the Brooklyn Bridge around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
One of the officers appears to have fallen off his scooter as the group passed him. That’s when a man riding an orange and green ATV veers around the cop’s fallen scooter and then rolls over the officer who was lying on the ground, the video shows.
